How to create a watchlist for TradingView
Organize your symbols in Tradingdir, choose their markets, and copy them into TradingView when you are ready.
1. Create your Tradingdir list
Create a free account, select New list and choose a name. Free includes three saved lists with up to 15 symbols each.
2. Add symbols and review markets
Search for BTC or ETH, full instrument names, or several comma-separated symbols. You can also enter BTCUSDT, BTCUSDC or BTCUSD to request a quote currency, and append .P for Perpetual markets. Availability depends on the catalogue.
Select the exchange and market for each entry before adding it. Spot and Perpetual can coexist in the same list. Perpetual entries display .P.
3. Copy and paste into TradingView
Click Copy on your saved list. In TradingView, open your watchlist, click the plus button to add symbols, paste the copied symbols and confirm. Tradingdir includes the exchange prefixes so the selected markets are preserved.
TradingView’s limits still apply, including on its Basic plan. Tradingdir stores your separate lists; it does not automatically create or synchronize lists inside TradingView.
Alternative: download a TXT file
Choose TXT on your list. If your TradingView plan offers watchlist import, open its watchlist menu and choose Upload list to select the file.

Missing symbols
Choose “Not found? Add TradingView symbol manually” and enter the complete EXCHANGE:SYMBOL identifier. Verify it in TradingView first. Manual symbols are copied as entered in uppercase and are marked unverified.
Keep your list current
You can change markets, remove entries and sort your list before copying again. Copying is a snapshot, not continuous synchronization. Market data shown in Tradingdir is not a live price feed.
